We focus on making a high quality Merlot in small quantities, with much of the work in the vineyard being done by hand to ensure that the grapes reach the winery in the best possible condition.
We crop thin to build intensity into the wines and then mature in new French Oak, producing a wine that is sturdy and rich with a bouquet of blackcurrants, spice and concentrated ripe flavours. The grapes are very ripe when hand picked, the result is an intense, gutsy, well balanced Merlot. They will age well over the next few years to become extraordinary wines.
